'Police aren't trying hard enough'

Police aren't trying hard enough'  Well, that's not the case at all.  Thankfully, this girl was found alive and well.  I was worried about this missing girl and the feelings of her family when not getting the response from the authorities that they were desperate to have.
I put this on my blog because I know how they felt.   My oldest son is paranoid schizophrenic.  Almost a year ago he left his home in Minneapolis and was living on the streets of Compton, CA.   A missing person report could not be filed because he called home once in a while.  He is a vulnerable adult, but stating that fact didn't change anything.
It's very sad to feel that authorities view your loved one as a "throw-away" person.
I'm glad the authorities were right assuming this missing girl was a runaway (again), but when someone, anyone, especially as young as 15 is missing from home, I believe help is needed; as much, and as quickly as possible.
